Role: Collection Specialist
Work Location: Bangalore
Experience – 5-8 years
Responsibilities
• Own portfolio of customer accounts having strategic and large revenue impact on the organization.
• Monitor accounts to identify outstanding receivables.
• Investigate historical data for each account.
• Constant follow-up and meetings with clients ensure timely collections.
• Involve Management/legal team in cases where account receivables are delayed beyond standard timelines.
• Resolve billing and customer credit issues with the help of Management.
• Update account status records and collection efforts.
• Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status during the review meetings with Management.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
• Any graduate or postgraduate from a reputed university.
• Proven experience of at least 5 years as a Collection Specialist or similar role.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques.
• Familiarity with laws related to debt collection.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and dashboards, CRM and accounting tools
• Comfortable working with targets.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with skilled in negotiation and Problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to take on new challenges, explore new ideas and be flexible with changing priorities.
• Should have proven prior experience of thriving in high pressure environments and delivering critical projects on time and to good quality.
