Role: Sr Application Engineer/Application Engineer
Experience: 3-6 years
- Analyse MEP drawings to identify HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors.
- Review control specifications and sequences of operation.
- Prepare initial review documents and generate Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Develop Bills of Materials and select appropriate sensors, control valves, dampers, airflow stations, controllers, etc.
- Design control and interlock wiring for devices and controllers, including terminations.
- Prepare I/O summaries.
- Design BMS network architecture.
- Demonstrate proficiency and hands-on experience with AutoCAD, including customization using LISP routines.
- Program supervisory and DDC-level controllers, create test plans, perform simulations, and compile commissioning packages.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, defect-free hardware and software solutions.
- Follow established processes and guidelines to execute projects within defined timelines.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, cooling towers, primary/secondary pumping systems, hot water systems, and various air handling units (AHUs), fan coil units (FCUs), and VAV systems.
- In-depth knowledge of BMS architecture, including operator workstations, supervisory and DDC controllers, sensors, and actuators.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, OPC, and others.
- Experience in the engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC and BMS systems for infrastructure projects
- Experience with AutoCAD customization using LISP for automating tasks and improving design efficiency.
- Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
